Rebrand

In between 2015 to 2016 the company realised that the SCM World brand was strong but the design was not completely coherent in all its output.

There was a need to create a new way of communication which could be seen as respectable but unconventional.

I then came up with the creation of a set of modular illustrations to replace the use of stock imagery. The illustrations were simple but could convey very complex concepts related to supply chain. The simplicity of use meant that every designer in the team could create illustrated stories perfectly in style and minimal illustration skills. Using modular illustration techniques is today widespread, at the time it was unseen.

Other tasks connected to the re-brand have been the setup of the company website in WordPress and the creation of an animation used in the homepage.

The result of the re-branding was a unified design tools for every department, from sales, content, marketing and a unique voice for the company.

With the illustrations modules, designers were having a tool to represent a vast array of supply chain concepts for content as well as for events design.

The new marketing website offered a more flexible way to communicate and inform our members and potential customers, with easy publishing of news, blog posts, webinars, and free download of tools for analysts.
